ALMA DE MEXICO JOINS UATP NETWORK AS NEW UATP MERCHANT

Washington, DC – Alma de Mexico, Guadalajara, is the latest airline to join the UATP network as a new
merchant. Alma de Mexico now accepts all UATP corporate cards as part of the UATP global corporate
travel payment network.

Alma de Mexico will settle all UATP transactions through UATP Settlement Services (USS), a low-cost,
weekly settlement system that matches fees and air tickets electronically, allowing for easy reconciliation
of accounts.

“Alma is expanding market share throughout Mexico and is continuously looking for ways to continue our
reputation of excellent customer service,” said Guillermo Heredia, CEO, Alma de Mexico. “By accepting
UATP, Alma de Mexico is meeting corporate client demands for UATP acceptance throughout Alma’s
network while opening new revenue opportunities.”

Alma de México was created to satisfy the demand of travelers, who are looking for a better alternative in
quality of service, as well as a strategic point for travel to intermediate destinations, with just fares and
excellent customer service.

“Mexico is a rapidly growing area, and a strategic focus for UATP, and with corporate travel on the rise in
the area, Alma will be able to grow its corporate travel sector by accepting UATP,” said Ralph Kaiser,
CEO and president, UATP.

Alma de México operates a fleet of more than 15 regional jets Bombardier CRJ200, with plans to expand
its base up to 21 jets by the end of 2007. This quick expansion has given Alma, the necessary reach from
its hub located at Guadalajara, Jalisco, México to serve more than 20 new destinations and growing
rapidly.

Alma is a new generation airline, with all the backing of experienced personnel and with international
recognition for its safety procedures and certification by IATA with its IOSA audit on operational and
maintenance processes.
