US HELICOPTER JOINS UATP NETWORK AND ENHANCES CORPORATE OFFERINGS
Washington, DC – US Helicopter recently joined the Universal Air
Travel Plan network (UATP), making it the first helicopter service to accept all UATP
corporate cards as part of the UATP global corporate travel payment network.
“US Helicopter aims to make the customer experience as easy as possible,” said Jerry
Murphy, chief executive officer and president of US Helicopter. “Accepting UATP
enables US Helicopter to meet corporate client payment demands, as well as expand
market share through strategic partnerships.”
In addition to the regularly scheduled flights offered Monday through Friday, US
Helicopter also offers corporate clients unrivaled benefits including: eight-minute travel
time between New York City Heliports at Midtown’s FDR Drive at East 34th Street and
Downtown Manhattan on the FDR Drive near Wall Street, John F. Kennedy International
Airport and Newark Liberty Airport; federally regulated TSA security clearance at NYC
Heliports, convenient check-in and boarding passes to final destinations (when traveling
aboard US Helicopter’s partner airlines, Delta Air Lines at JFK and Continental Airlines
at Newark Liberty); and baggage check to final destination (for both passengers traveling
to and from Manhattan).
“UATP is constantly looking for ways to make travel easier and more efficient for our
corporate subscriber base,” said Ralph Kaiser, CEO and president, UATP. “With the
addition of US Helicopter as a merchant, our subscribers will be able to access NYC
airports quicker, saving the valued commodity of time.”
US Helicopter’s Eight-Minute Shuttle Service operates from 7 in the morning to 8 at night
between Manhattan, JFK and Newark Liberty, fitting the corporate travelers’ needs.
Additional service is also offered between Manhattan, the airports and Bridgeport, Conn.
