THE TRAVEL HOUSE JOINS UATP’S GROWING MERCHANT BASE TO BENEFIT CORPORATE CUSTOMERS

Washington, DC– The Travel House, headquartered in Bridgetown, Barbados, is strengthening its customer service and lowering its distribution costs by becoming a UATP Merchant effective immediately.  The Travel House clients will now process all applicable services fees and industry charges on the UATP card which strengthens customer service while allowing corporate clients to reconcile with one easy report. 

The Travel House will settle all UATP transactions through UATP Settlement Services (USS), a low-cost, weekly settlement system that matches fees and air tickets electronically, this allows for easy reconciliation of accounts for travel agents and their customers for non-clearinghouse transactions. 

“At The Travel House we will be able to continue to provide excellent customer service to our clientele and meet customer demand by accepting UATP.  With a large corporate clientele, ease-of-use and lowering distribution costs are integral to success,” said June Clarke, General Manager of The Travel House.  “With UATP and its ease-of-use reporting system, The Travel House is able to include any service fees with corresponding tickets and provide the easiest tools possible towards enhancing customer service.”
