UATP EXPANDS IN BRAZIL; ADDS GOL AS NEW MERCHANT
UATP Chosen to Expand Corporate Market Share
UATP continues its expansion in Brazil, adding GOL Transportes Aéreos as its newest UATP Merchant effective immediately. GOL, the first Brazilian airline to accept UATP as a form of payment directly through its website - www.voegol.com.br/INT/ - is meeting the rising demands of corporate travelers for UATP acceptance. UATP is accepted by airlines and travel agencies worldwide.
Constantly focusing on reducing cost, GOL’s strategy is focused on profitable growth through a low cost structure and high quality customer service. Through safe and reliable services and high levels of customer satisfaction, the Company has the best cost-benefit ratio in the market, enhancing its brand recognition.
“It will now be easier for corporate clients worldwide to purchase tickets on GOL and enjoy the Company’s services, including quality, security and low fares,” says Eduardo Bernardes, commercial director of GOL.
ATCAN ENHANCEMENTS – NEW CURRENCIES AVAILABLE FOR SETTLEMENT
In efforts to continually enhance UATP’s product offerings, as of 7 May, ATCAN now has enhanced capabilities to include five (5) new currencies available for settlement. The new currencies include Canadian Dollar (CAD), Swiss Franc (CHF), Great Britain Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY) and New Zealand Dollar (NZD). The new currencies are in addition to the current settlement currencies of United States Dollar (USD) and Euro (EUR). The United States Dollar will remain the default settlement currency.

UATP JOINS AIRPLUS IN PRESS CONFERENCE FOR NEW AIRPLUS INTERNATIONAL STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH AIR CHINA

AirPlus Also Founds Subsidiary Company in Shanghai
AirPlus International, a leading global travel payment provider and Air China, the leading national flag carrier, have announced their strategic partnership by unveiling the Air China AirPlus Company Account. The solution provides the airline’s corporate customers with a new travel payment option on all national and international Air China flights and tariffs. The joint product is the first of its kind in China and will be released in July 2008 prior to the Olympic Games. Furthermore, AirPlus has founded a subsidiary company in China - the AirPlus Payment Management Co. Ltd. based in Shanghai. The new subsidiary will intensify the customer liaison and support the local roll-out of the joint payment solution.

UATP 101 TRAINING CLASS, 12 JUNE, REDONDO BEACH, CA
UATP training helps maximize the benefits of a UATP program whether you are a UATP Merchant, Issuer or interested in becoming one. The next UATP 101 Training class is being offered 12 April in Redondo Beach, CA from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is no charge for new UATP Members that have joined within the last 12 months.
