The Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (hereafter referred to as "UATP") is committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information that you provide to us when using the UATP Web site. This Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information received about you when you visit the UATP web site and/or register for our Annual Conference. We may change the Privacy Policy from time to time.  We will post any materials changes on the UATP web site, so be sure to check this site periodically.

Scope and Nature of the Policy

For each visitor to our web pages, the UATP web server automatically recognizes the consumer's domain name and e-mail address (where possible).  UATP collects personally identifiable information collected from you and about you, including the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number, and fax number.  We also may collect information about your interests in and use of our various programs and services.

We also automatically collect IP addresses and web site usage information from you when you visit our web site.  This information helps us evaluate how our visitors use and navigate our web site on an aggregate basis, including the number and frequency of visitors to each web page and the length of their visits.

How Your Information Is Used

We may use the personally identifiable information you provide for responding to your requests for information or to fulfill your order, including when you register for our Annual Conference.  We also use this information you provide to contact you regarding one of our programs, such as our conference.  In addition, we may, form time to time, use the information you provide to provide you with information about other programs, events, and services in which you may be interested.  If you would like to request the we not use information we collect about you for such marketing purposes, please contact us at marketing@uatp.com.

We may also use information we collect at this site to personalize the content, improve the content of our web page, and/or to provide you with product or service offers.

We may disclose personally identifiable information collected at this site in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena.  We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency's request, or where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our terms of use, to comply with legal reguirements, or as otherwise required by or law.

In addition, we may share information in the event of a bankruptcy, or a merger, acquisition, joint venture, or other business combination involving us.

Security
We have put in place procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized to the information we collect online.

UATP's web site may also have links to the sites of other companies.  UATP is not responsible for their privacy practices nor do we monitor or control the information collected when you choose to access those web sites.  Since their treatment of personally identifiable data may differ from ours, we encourage you to learn about the privacy policies of those companies.

Safe Harbor Policy
UATP has many international client relationships and as such has developed golabl practices designed to address applicable data pretection requirements.  For certain data transferred from Europe on behalf of our business customers, UATP complies with the requirements of the Safe harbor Privacy Principles issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce.  For more information on UATP's privacy policy with respect to the Safe harbor, please click here.

While our primary operations is in the US, UATP may transfer data provided by and abourt customers to the appropriate office, distributior, partner or consultant to deliver the service or information required to service the customer.  In order to provide service in a timely, cost effective and efficient manner, data provided by UATP may be made available to authorized UATP users across our global offices that require access to the data for business services.

If you are located outside of the United States, please note that the information you provide to us may be transferred to the United States.

Updating Information
UATP makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the personally identifiable data we have about you is accurate, current and complete.  You may correct factual errors in that data by sending a request to us that credibly shows the error.  Consumers can have this information corrected by sending us e-mail at the below address.
